 | This article is about the professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. For the original event produced by Jim Crockett Promotions and World Championship Wrestling, see The Great American Bash.Official Great American Bash logo as of 2008The Great American Bash is an annual summer professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. It was originally produced by the National Wrestling Alliance's Jim Crockett Promotions and then by World Championship Wrestling. According to Ric Flair in his autobiography, To Be the Man, Dusty Rhodes invented the concept of The Great American Bash. After the final Great American Bash was held by World Championship Wrestling on June 11, 2000, the event would not be held again due to the acquisition of WCW by World Wrestling Entertainment. However, after a four year hiatus, the event was revived by WWE in June 2004 and would be exclusive to the SmackDown! brand from 2004 to 2006. The Great American Bash is the only former WCW pay-per-view event now held by WWE. A feature of the WWE event is that, anyone in the American military can watch the show for free, either at the event or on television.

 | Cyber Sunday is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In 2004 and 2005, the event was known as Taboo Tuesday[1] and was exclusive to the Raw brand.During the event's "Taboo Tuesday" years, it was the first pay-per-view held by the company on a Tuesday since 1991's This Tuesday in Texas. The inaugural event was held in October, and the 2005 event was pushed back to early November, likely to prevent competition from a Major League Baseball playoff game.[citation needed] By 2006 the show was moved to a more traditional Sunday night slot—alleviating problems with the taping schedule of SmackDown! (usually held on Tuesdays)—and renamed Cyber Sunday. The most distinctive feature of Cyber Sunday is the ability for fans to vote on certain aspects of every match. The voting typically begins in the middle of an episode of Raw a few weeks beforehand and ends during the pay-per-view, often moments before the match is slated to begin. Because of this, Cyber Sunday is billed as an "interactive pay-per-view". For the first four events, voting was made online through WWE.com, with the official tag line for the PPV being "Log On. Take Over." In 2008 however, this was replaced by votes through text messaging but this is only available to United States mobile carriers. However, the match between the Undertaker and the Big Show was made universal, as fans are now allowed to vote for the match stipulation on WWE.com.

It was the second of two ECW pay-per-views produced by WWE, the first being One Night Stand. It was also the first ECW brand pay-per-view since its revival on June 13, 2006. The 2007 edition of this event (scheduled to be held December 2 at the Cricket Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina) was cancelled for unknown reasons in February 2007 shortly after all WWE PPV events became tri-branded.

 | Night of Champions is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).The event started as a pay-per-view under the name Vengeance in 2001,[1] replacing Armageddon for that year due to the insensitivity of the latter's name after the September 11, 2001 attacks.[2] In 2002, Vengeance proceeded into the event taking over Fully Loaded's pay-per-view spot. The 2003 event was exclusive to the SmackDown! brand, while from 2004 to 2006, the events were Raw exclusive. In 2005, Vengeance was moved once again, this time switching positions with The Great American Bash. The 2007 event was named Vengeance: Night of Champions, as all nine WWE championships were defended that night. In 2008, the event was renamed to Night of Champions, keeping the format of the 2007 event, in the process dropping the Vengeance name.
